Picto Grid

Picto Grid is a nonogram (picross) puzzle on a sunny gallery wall. Each picture hides behind number clues and bursts into colour when finished. 88 pictures in 6 worlds, from a small 5x5 up to a big 20x20, plus a new daily puzzle. The numbers beside each row and above each column show how many painted squares sit together there, in order, with at least one empty square between groups. Fill the squares you are sure of and cross the empty ones. Every picture can be solved by logic alone, no guessing. A mistake is counted and the square corrects itself; a hint reveals a square but costs a star. Controls: on desktop, Click or drag to paint, right click for X, F fill, X cross, M move, +/- zoom, H hint, Z undo, P or Esc pause; on mobile, Tap or drag on squares; fill, X, move, zoom, hint and undo buttons on the side; landscape recommended. Tips og strategi

• Start with rows whose numbers almost fill the line: many squares are certain.
• When a line is complete, cross the rest of it; that unlocks new clues in the columns.
• On big boards use Zoom and Move so you never skip a row.
• A mistake is not the end, but a streak of mistakes and hints lowers your stars.
• The daily puzzle is the same for everyone and keeps your streak.
• A third of the stars is enough to open the next world.
