Question 1

How do Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure controls work in the browser version?

Accepted Answer

The emulator loads the original control setup and maps it to your keyboard. On desktop, the main controls are Arrows to move, Alt to jump, Ctrl to grab/pull, and Esc to exit. After pressing Play, click once inside the game so the keyboard input responds.

Question 2

What does the Ctrl grab/pull mechanic do in Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure?

Accepted Answer

The page lists Ctrl as the key for grab/pull in this MS-DOS game. That action is part of the original control setup the emulator maps to your keyboard, alongside movement with the arrows and jumping with Alt.

Question 3

Why should I open the emulator menu before starting Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure?

Accepted Answer

The emulator menu lets you check or change the current key mapping before you begin. The tips specifically say to open it first if you want to confirm the mapping, especially since the original controls are translated to keyboard input.

Question 4

What is the best way to get a clearer view of Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure?

Accepted Answer

Use fullscreen for a cleaner, easier-to-read picture. The guide notes that browser-based MS-DOS games like this one are usually better to follow when the window is set up well, and fullscreen helps with clarity.

Question 5

How do touch devices play Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure without a keyboard?

Accepted Answer

On touch devices, the emulator provides an on-screen gamepad. The features section says it is available for mobile play, so you can use the emulator’s provided controls instead of a keyboard while playing in the browser.
