Question 1

How do Kiloblaster's original keyboard controls work in the browser version?

Accepted Answer

Kiloblaster uses the original MS-DOS key mapping through the browser emulator. On desktop, Arrow keys move, Ctrl fires, Space opens doors or uses items, Shift runs, Enter confirms, and Esc opens the menu. The game keeps the original pad layout, so the mapped controls matter.

Question 2

What does the emulator menu change in Kiloblaster (Shareware Episode)?

Accepted Answer

The emulator menu shows the current key mapping and lets you change it. That is useful if the controls feel unfamiliar or if you are coming back after a break. The browser version still runs the original MS-DOS game, but the mapping can be reviewed before you continue.

Question 3

Why does Kiloblaster ask you to click inside the game after pressing Play?

Accepted Answer

After you press Play, you need to click inside the game once so keyboard input becomes active. The tip also notes that if a command does not respond, you should confirm the emulator has focus first. This helps the browser version accept the original keyboard controls.

Question 4

How does the on-screen gamepad work for Kiloblaster on mobile?

Accepted Answer

On mobile, Kiloblaster can be played with the on-screen gamepad provided by the emulator. The copy says this is the easiest way to play on mobile. It keeps the game accessible while still running the original MS-DOS version in the browser.

Question 5

What is the point of using fullscreen in Kiloblaster?

Accepted Answer

Fullscreen is recommended if you want a clearer picture. The guide says it gives you a larger view and makes the retro presentation easier to follow over a longer session. It is a comfort tip rather than a required part of playing Kiloblaster.
