Question 1

In Mario & Luigi (DOS fangame), what does the emulator menu help you check before you play?

Accepted Answer

The emulator menu shows the current control mapping and lets you change it if needed. The copy suggests checking it first so you know the layout before starting, especially if you are used to a different setup.

Question 2

How do Mario & Luigi (DOS fangame) keyboard controls work on desktop?

Accepted Answer

The desktop controls follow the original pad layout: arrows move, Ctrl runs, Alt jumps, and Space fires. The game also notes that keyboard input becomes active after you click the game window once.

Question 3

What should I do if input stops responding in Mario & Luigi (DOS fangame)?

Accepted Answer

If a key does not respond, click back into the game window and try again. The guide says the first click matters in an emulator, and input can stop working until the window is active again.

Question 4

What is the on-screen gamepad in Mario & Luigi (DOS fangame) used for?

Accepted Answer

On mobile, the emulator provides an on-screen gamepad. That is the listed touch-device control option, so you can play without a keyboard by using the emulator’s built-in gamepad.

Question 5

Why would fullscreen help in Mario & Luigi (DOS fangame)?

Accepted Answer

Fullscreen can make the picture easier to see during longer play. The guide also says it gives a clearer view of the original DOS presentation, which can make the session feel cleaner.
