Question 1

How do PostBot’s original pad inputs map to keyboard controls on desktop?

Accepted Answer

PostBot uses the original pad layout mapped to your keyboard. The provided controls are Arrow keys to move, X for A, Z for B, Enter for Start, and Shift for Select. The emulator menu also shows the current key mapping, so you can check it before playing.

Question 2

What should I do in PostBot if a control feels off?

Accepted Answer

If a control feels off in PostBot, open the emulator menu and remap it there. The page notes that the menu lets you change the current key mapping, which is useful if you want the original-style controls to feel more natural on your keyboard.

Question 3

Does PostBot have an on-screen gamepad for touch devices?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PostBot includes an on-screen gamepad provided by the emulator for touch devices. The page says this keeps the game playable without a physical keyboard, so you can use the touch controls and still play in the browser.

Question 4

Why might I want to use fullscreen in PostBot before I start?

Accepted Answer

Fullscreen is recommended in PostBot if you want a clearer view of the game. The guide says the image is easier to read in fullscreen, which can help during longer sessions or when you want to focus on the retro handheld display.

Question 5

What makes PostBot different from other browser games?

Accepted Answer

PostBot is a Game Boy / Color game that runs in your browser through EmulatorJS. It needs no download or account, uses original-style controls, and includes emulator settings plus visible control mapping, making it especially suited to quick retro play.
