Iron Commando is a side-scrolling run-and-gun for one or two players: a fox, robot, bear, frog and owl squad against Professor Gearwin's Cog Army. Eight colourful levels, each with a mid-boss and an end boss. Run right, shoot in eight directions, jump and duck. Shoot drones and crates for weapons: spread, laser, rapid, flame and missiles. Each player has three hearts and a power level, and every hit costs both. Continues let you retry. Play co-op with a friend, or try Boss Rush. Controls: on desktop, Arrows or WASD to move and aim, J fire, K jump, L bomb. Two players: P1 WASD + F/G/H, P2 arrows + J/K/L. P to pause.; on mobile, Virtual stick on the left, fire, jump and bomb buttons on the right, pause button at the top.. How many levels?
Eight, each with a mid-boss and an end boss.
How do I play with two?
Choose Players: 2 in the main menu. P1 uses WASD with F/G/H, P2 uses arrows with J/K/L, or two gamepads.
What happens when I get hit?
You lose a heart and a weapon power level. After three hits you lose a life.
How do I unlock characters?
Collect stars in levels. Each character has a small perk.
What is Boss Rush?
Fight all eight end bosses in a row. Unlocks after level 3.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes, with a virtual stick and large buttons. Rotate the phone to landscape.
Do I need to download or sign up?
No. The game runs directly in your browser, with no account and no installation.
Where is my best score saved?
Only on your own device, in the browser’s local storage. It is never sent anywhere.
