Word Hunt is a cube-board word game: a 4x4 or 5x5 grid of letters on a cafe table, three minutes a round, in Hebrew or English. The dictionary is loaded from the same word lists as the Scrabble game, boards are generated with real letter frequencies for each language and are guaranteed to contain enough words. After the round a solver shows every word you missed. Drag a finger or the mouse through touching cubes, diagonals included, and release to submit. Drag back to undo, and a cube can be used only once per word. A word needs at least 3 letters. Score by length: 3-4 letters 10, five 20, six 30, seven 50, eight or more 110, plus a combo bonus for quick finds. What if a real word is rejected?
It is not in the game's word list, which is the only list used.
How long is a round?
Three minutes, and the game pauses automatically when you leave the tab.
Do I need to download or sign up?
No. The game runs directly in your browser, with no account and no installation.
Where is my best score saved?
Only on your own device, in the browser’s local storage. It is never sent anywhere.
