Lakeside Fishing is a calm, storybook-painted fishing game: five lakes with a day and night cycle, 28 fish species in four rarities, and a collection book that fills as you play. Hold on the water to fill the power meter and release to cast. Wait for the fish shadow and the bite, then tap the moment the float dips. Hold to reel in and let go when the fish pulls, keeping the tension gauge in the green band. Too much tension snaps the line; too little lets the fish shake the hook. • Each species has active hours, so look for night fish at night and dawn fish at dawn

• Better bait raises the chance of a rare catch
• Upgrade the line to widen the green band
• Tournaments are won on weight, so aim for heavy fish
