Solitaire is a classic Klondike card game with our own card design. Sort the table by building down in alternating colours, then move each suit to the foundations from ace to king. It is a calm game with a clear structure. You can draw from the stock one card at a time, use undo, and tap cards to move them automatically when a move is legal.
How to play
Look at the tableau columns first and build cards in descending order with alternating colours. A king is the only card that can fill an empty column. To reveal hidden cards, work through the longest columns and move cards carefully. Tap the stock to draw one card at a time, then place it on a legal column if possible. Your aim is to clear the table and finish all four foundations from ace to king. If you need help, use undo or hint.
Controls
- Desktop: Drag cards or click to move them. Use U for undo and H for hint.
- Mobile: Drag a card or tap it to move it automatically. Use the undo and hint buttons.
Features
- Classic Klondike rules
- Draw one card at a time from the stock
- Undo up to 300 moves
- Hint highlights a legal move or the stock
- Tap a card to move it automatically
Tips & strategy
- Work the longest columns first so you uncover face-down cards sooner.
- Keep an empty column open for a king when you can.
- Do not send every card to the foundations right away; some are needed to build columns.
- Use hint when you are stuck, but check whether a move helps reveal hidden cards.
Progression
A good Solitaire session is about opening the tableau rather than moving cards too quickly. Early on, focus on columns with the most face-down cards and try to free them in a way that keeps options open. Since only kings can fill empty columns, save that space for a card that will help you build a long run. Over a longer game, you will often need to balance two goals: uncovering hidden cards and feeding the foundations. Moving cards to the foundations is useful, but not always the best immediate choice. If a card can still help build a column, keep it available. Undo is useful when a move closes off a better line.

FAQ
In Solitaire, how do I build the tableau columns correctly at the start?
Build cards in descending order with alternating colours. The game follows classic Klondike rules, so looking at the tableau columns first helps you set up future moves and uncover hidden cards more efficiently.
How does drawing from the stock work in Solitaire?
You can tap the stock to draw one card at a time. After drawing, place the card on a legal column if possible. This keeps the game calm and structured while you work toward clearing the table.
Why do I need to save an empty column for a king in Solitaire?
A king is the only card that can fill an empty column. Keeping space open for a king can help you build a long run and gives you more room to rearrange the tableau later.
What do undo and hint do in Solitaire?
Undo lets you take back moves, and the game allows up to 300 undo moves. Hint highlights a legal move or the stock, which can help when you are stuck, though it is still worth checking whether the move reveals hidden cards.
How does tap-to-move work in Solitaire, and what is the goal of the run?
You can tap cards to move them automatically when a move is legal. On mobile, you can also tap a card to move it automatically. The goal is to clear the table and finish all four foundations from ace to king.
